If your dog has ever come home happily exhausted from one of our hikes, chances are Noam was the one leading the way. Noam is Sarah’s husband, co-owner of Sarah’s Pet Services, and one of the calmest, most grounding people you’ll ever meet on a trail — even if he’s simultaneously identifying a mushroom, humming a melody for a new song, and counting dogs with perfect accuracy.
How He Found His Path
More than a decade ago, a puppy named Taiko pulled Noam into the world of dog psychology and communication. What started as curiosity became a long-term study of canine behavior and the emotional needs of both rowdy young hikers and sensitive seniors. His approach is patient, observant, and intuitive — a musician’s ear for rhythm, but applied to dogs.
Why Dogs Love Hiking With Noam
Noam has a knack for reading subtle cues: a dog slowing down, getting overstimulated, or needing encouragement. Senior dogs especially appreciate his gentle pace. Energetic explorers follow him like he’s the world’s calmest camp counselor.

A Little More About Him
When he’s not guiding a pack through the woods, Noam can usually be found writing music, foraging for mushrooms (the safe kind, don’t worry), or pointing out birds no one else saw. Dogs seem to recognize that same quiet, steady energy — and they trust it.
A Family-Built Business With Heart
Sarah and Noam built Sarah’s Pet Services together from the ground up. The business reflects who they are: compassionate, reliable, community-minded, and deeply connected to the animals they care for. When your dog hikes with Noam, they’re not just getting exercise — they’re spending time with someone who genuinely enjoys their company.
